- Description
- The Draft Subsequent EIR (DSEIR) is tiered from the Program EIR for the certified by County in November 2014 for the Altamont Pass Wind Resource Area. The DSEIR evaluates a proposed project to repower an former wind energy facility comprised of an estimated 518 turbine sites with up to 36 new turbines with nameplate production capacity rated between 2.2 and 4.2 megawatts (MW) each, that together will have a maximum production capacity of approximately 80 MW, on a site of approximately 4,600 acres. The DSEIR identifies new mitigation measures, alternatives and includes Appendices with a micro-siting assessment and a supplemental assessment.
