Description

The project is limited to the remedial activities to address elevated levels, VOCs, SVOCs, PAHs, and TPH in soil, soil vapor and groundwater, and lead in the soil at the site that resulted from the operation of the former Red Bluff MGP. Specific work includes: excavation and offsite disposal of approximately 4,000 cy of shallow-zone contaminated soils (0-10 ft deep); in-site solidification/stabilization treatment of approximately 2,000 cy of deep zone contaminated soils (10-35 ft deep); backfilling, compacting and grading of excavated sites with clean fill; and revegetation activities as per the Pacific Gas and Electric Manufactured Gas Plant, IS/MND for impacts on property owned by BOR (including SR 36 right of way).
