- Description
- The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program is providing state funds for the project. The North Kaweah Mutual Water Company proposes to consolidate two water districts (North Kaweah MWC and Tract 403 MWC) in an effort to improve the overall water quality and service to existing customers. The project will provide new water supply wells, treatment filtration and disinfection facilities, a clear water storage tank, and booster pumps if necessary. The existing distribution line would be replaced and water meters will be installed for residents in Tract 403 MWC. Existing wells that service North Kaweah MWC will be abandoned.
