- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Central Valley Flood Protection Board (CVFPB) propose to improve approximately 9,540 cumulative feet of levees along the Sacramento River’s east levee in Sacramento, California by installing a series of cutoff walls. Levee improvements included in the project were originally analyzed in the American River Watershed Common Features General Reevaluation Report (ARCF GRR) Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR). This draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment/EIR (EA/EIR) addresses project modifications and refinements since publication of the ARCF GRR EIS/EIR.
