The Sacramento River East Levee (SREL) Contract 1 Project is a component of the American River Watershed Common Features (ARCF) 2016 Project. The Project would consist of constructing a series of stability berms and cutoff walls along segments of the Sacramento River east levee between the Tower Bridge and the City of Freeport. The purpose of Project is to reduce risks of levee failure related to seepage, underseepage, and levee stability.
