Document Description
The Proposed Project would include the following: maintenance dredging of the boat ramp/boat area and the confluence of the Feather River and the Yuba River; dewatering the dredged material in the existing northernmost wastewater ponds at the former Marysville Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) proposed by the City of Marysville for decommissioning; and disposal of the dredged material. Phase 1 of the Project would involve removal of the originally planned 65,600 cy, and Phase 2 of the Project would involve the additional 250,000 cy if additional funding becomes available, for a total of 315,600 cy. The Project would occur between 2021 and 2023, starting in June 2021.
