Document Description
The Project is limited to the retrofit of the existing pump station’s debris screen and adjacent erosion repair. Project activities will include: (1) installation of approximately 320-feet of a new sheet pile wall along the south bank of the canal to remediate the erosion of the canal bank; (2) placement of approximately 500 tons of drain rock and approximately 130 cubic yards of topsoil backfill behind the sheet pile wall; (3) removal and replacement of approximately 350-feet of existing chain-link fence; (4)
installation of nine new 10-foot wide automatic conveyor-belt style debris removal screens to replace the existing debris catchment system; and (5) implementation of seeding and erosion control measures based on the erosion control plan, including native plant seeds, sterile straw mulch, and erosion control blankets. This is to advise that CDFW, acting as a Responsible Agency, approved the above described
project on the date signed below and has made the following determinations regarding the project pursuant to California Code of Regulations section 15096, subdivision (i):
