Document Description
The Well V817 Rose Valley Pipeline Installation Project would install a 1,542 linear foot long, 8-inch diameter water pipeline along a dirt access road across an abandoned agricultural field in the Rose Valley area of Inyo County. The pipeline would transport pumped water from Well V817 to the First Los Angeles Aqueduct (LAA1), providing an additional water source from the existing well. The well would be equipped with a motor pump designed to withdraw a total of 1.5 cubic feet per second (cfs) of water through the new pipe to the LAA1. This would result in approximately 1,100 acre feet per year of water to be withdrawn from the well and delivered to the aqueduct.
