Document Description
The City continues to improve its Water Recycling Facility and now proposes to modify the Facility to accept high-strength waste1 from local food and beverage industries and convert it to compressed natural gas for use in buses and utility fleets. The City has applied to the California Energy Commission for funding assistance for these modifications, which are known as the Biomass-to-Biofuel improvements. This addendum evaluates the environmental impacts of the Biomass-to-Biofuel improvements at the existing Water Recycling Facility.
