Title: City of Del Rey Oaks Housing Element
Description: The project consists of the preparation and adoption of an updated Housing Element as part of the City's General Plan. The Housing Element is a policy document rather than a proposal for a specific action. The project includes an analysis of the City's housing needs; identifies various governmental and non-governmental constraints to meeting those needs; establishes reasonable goals, objectives and policies based on those needs; and sets forth a comprehensive list of actions to achieve the identified goals and objectives. The Draft Housing Element has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of California Government Code sections 65580-65589.8 and updates the current Housing Element of the City's General Plan. Upon its adoption, the Housing Element would become part of the City's General Plan.
