BAPP Bench Drains Vegetation Removal

Description

DFD staff willl remove vegetation from the top of each bench drain located along BAPP intake channel and the adjacent hillsides next to the pumping plant. Areas from the shooting range to the main road leading to BAPP will be mowed as needed. Additional vegetation removal will be done with weed eaters and larger items rmeoved with hand tools. DFD staff will also remove sediment and debris from culvert openings and concrete v-ditches within the bench drains located along the intake channel and around the pumping plant. Sediment removal will be done with shovels. Access to the site is directly off Kelso Rd, which is the main entrance into DFD. The entire compound is within DFD right of way. There will be no mowing or staging outside the project footprint area.
