Title: Los Angeles County Waterworks District 29 Priority Capital Deficiencies Improvements
Description: The Waterworks District No. 29 Priority Capital Deficiencies Improvements include several separate improvements to existing waterlines and water reservoirs (tanks) and construction of a new waterline. These include demolishing 3 water tanks and replacing with new tanks; replacing 34,300 ft. of underground water pipeline; constructing 6,300 ft. of new underground pipeline; and repairing several creek-crossing bridge-mounted pipelines. Underground pipeline improvements would be within the rights-of-way of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), Carbon Canyon Road, Carbon Mesa Road, Coastline Drive, and Encinal Canyon Road in Malibu and unicorporated Los Angeles. Tank improvements would be at the locations of existing tanks: Fernwood Tank at 19837 Horseshoe Drive in the unicorporated community of Topanga and Upper Encinal Tank on Vista Del Preseas in Malibu. Creek crossing repairs would be on PCH bridges over the following creeks: Topanga Canyon Creek, Pena Canyon Creek, Las Flores Canyon Creek, Coal (Carbon) Canyon Creek, Corral Canyon Creek, Escondido Creek, and Zuma Creek.
