Yountville Veterans Home - Steam and Condensate Dristribution System Renovation

Description

The proposed project include replacement of 20,000 linear feet of the existing main steam/condensate return distribution piping and associated components. Work will occur within existing utiltiy corridors and building crawl spaces. The project will be implemented in phases to accommodate temporary service and provide continuous steam and condensate services. The project is necessary because the existing steam/condensate distribution system is over 80 years old. Currently leaks in the system are repaired as needed but leaks are occurring in increasing frequency resulting in frequent repairs and loss of reliable heating for residential living, kitchen/dining and skilled nursing spaces utilized by veterans.
