Description

SWRCB, is the Responsible Agency. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SDWSRF) Program is providing state funds for the project. The County of Fresno, Dept. of Public Works and Planning proposes to: 1). Environmental Review No. 7211 - CSA 30 - El Porvenir. The project consists of drilling two potable water wells at CSA 32, and connecting the wells via pipeline to an existing water facility currently serving CSA 32. Approx. 1,120 feet of new pipeline will be constructed. The existing water facilities will be improved to accommodate the new water source. Existing water distribution pipelines, service connections, and meters will be replaced. The total length of water distribution pipeline to be preplaced is approx. 3,250 feet within CSA 32 and 2,750 feet to serve existing users outside the current CSA. New distribution pipelines, service connections, and meters will be replaced. The total length of water distribution pipeline to be replaced is approx. 3,250 feet within CSA 32 and 2,750 feet to serve existing users outside the current CSA. New distribution pipeline, service connection and meter will be constructed to connect proposed new users. Approx. 700 feet of new pipeline and meter will be constructed to provide services new users. 82 service connections and meters will be replaced, including 6 current out-of-district users. Existing abandoned wells will be destroyed.
