The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) is the responsible agency. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water STate Revolving Fund (SDWSRF) Program is providing funds for the project. The City of Newman proposed to a planning project that will include the drafting of environmental and technical documents in anticipation of a future public water system construction project, which is required to maintain public health and safety for those served by the City of Newman water system.
