Jensen Solar Power Plant

Description

The Project will install an approximately 1-megawatt solar power facility and associated electrical equipment on approximately six acres on the southwest side of the Jensen Water Treatment Plant (Jensen WTP) to provide electricity to the plant. The solar panels will connect to the Jensen WTP's exiting switchgear. The project will provide a hedge against power cost increases, reduce exposure to energy price volatility and reduce metropolitan's carbon footprint.
