Title: Sonoma Developmental Center Water Treatment Plant Sediment Pond Replacement Project
Description: The San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board (SFBRWQCB) issued a corrective action notice to the SDC due to a sediment spill from the WTP sediment ponds into Sonoma Creek in January of 2011. To comply with the corrective action notice DD5 proposes to decommission the existing sediment ponds and construct new sediment ponds to prevent a future containment bank failure or spillage into the creek.
