Streambed Alteration Permit for Routine Maintenance at BCID Intake Canal (5 year Agreement)

Description

The CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2013-0057-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Banta-Carbona Irrigation District The project is limited to the maintenance of the BCID intake channel and fish screen facility, including the removal of sand, silt, sediment, and debris; the control of weeds; the cleaning repair and maintenance of water control devices, and the repair and maintenance of the BCID intake channel. The dredging of sand, silt, and sediment will occur between the BCID intake channel's mouth to the San Joaquin River and BCID's fish screen facility, and within 60+\- feet of the shore and up to 350+\- feet upstream and 450+\- feet downstream of the mouth of BCID's intake channel, along the San Joaquin River.
