Title: Geary Road Improvements Project--Phase 3
Description: The Project will include construction of a continuous, dual left-turn center lane, and bike lane on both sides of roadway, a continuous pedestrian sidewalk on both sides of the street, drainage and traffic signals, street-lights and landscaping along the entire length of the Project area. Replacement of drainage ditches with an underground concrete pipe and construction of series of bio-retention swales will also be included. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2012-0447-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Scott Wikstrom on behalf of the City of Walnut Creek.
