The project site is mostly covered with oak woodland and there is an intermittent channel across the southwestern corner. The site has an average slope of 34 percent; the majority of the residence footprint would be located on slopes between 20 and 30 percent. The driveway will cross slopes between 30 and 50 percent, and require a 10-foot diameter culvert to span a swale at the eastern property line.
