Stormwater Pollution Prevention and Discharge Control Ordinance Amendments

Description

The proposal is to amend section 8.68.80 (A) (5) of the Stormwater Pollution and Discharge Control Ordinance by reenacting the exemption for incidental non-commercial and non-industrial discharges. This would exempt "incidental non-commercial and non-industrial discharges resulting from water line flushing, landscape irrigation, diverted stream flows, rising ground waters, uncontaminated ground water infiltration, uncontaminated pumped groundwater, discharges from potable water sources, foundation drains, air conditioning condensation, springs, water form crawl space pumps, car washing, and flows from riparian habitats and wetlands" form the discharge prohibitions contained in the Ordinance.
