- Description
- The Shasta River Watershed-wide Permitting Program is designed to facilitate compliance by Program participants with Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq. and requirements of the California Endangered Species Act (CESA) relating to coho salmon. Under the Program, the Shasta Valley Resource Conservation District will receive an Incidental Take Permit, and farmers and ranchers who elect to participate will receive sub-permits. The Program also provides for standardized terms for streamved alteration agreements.
