- The proposed project consists of the concurrent annexation of 51.40 acres of property to Calleguas Municipal Water District (Calleguas) and the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan), of which a total of 4.26 acres of the property is for road right-of-way. The property to be annexed is currently vacant and will be annexed into the city of Oxnard prior to development. The development plan consists of 200 residential units with a 14.5-acre park site. Metropolitan is also proposing to impose a water standby charge within the proposed annexing territory. This annexation would close an existing window in Metropolitan's service area.
