Title: Camanche Water Treatment Plant Replacement Project
Description: The Central Valley Regional Water Board is issuing a 401 Water Quality Certification for the subject Project. The Project consists of: 1) constructing a replacement ultra-filtration water treatment plant at the Camanche South Shore Recreation Area; 2) constructing backwash storage ponds; 3) installing a new pipe to provide raw water from the Mokelumne Aqueducts to the new treatment plant and fiber optic cable within the same trench; and 4) installing a pipe to convey water from the Camanche South Shore Recreation Area to the Camanche North Shore Recreation Area.
