- This project, to be carried out by the Mother Lode Fair - 29th District Agricultural Association, involves the planting of 202 trees on the grounds and parking area lots of the fairgounds. It is anticipated that this project will commence in April of 2001 and be completed by March 2003. Trees will be non-native ornamentals that have been selected for their disease resistance, adaptation to the urban landscape, shade capacity, and minimal litter production.
