Title: Capistrano Valley Water District Non-Domestic Water Master Plan
Description: The Non Domestic Water Master Plan (NDWMP) outlines a master plan with phased implementation of non-domestic water system improvements. Components of the expanded non-domestic water system include: 1. A three-phase tertiary treatment facility at the existing Jay B. Latham Regional Wastewater Plant operated by the South East Regional Reclamation Authority (SERRA) 2. A new non-domestic storage reservoir for Zone 40, a new non-domestic storage reservoir at the Whispering Hills project, and the conversion of two existing domestic reservoirs to non-domestic use. 3. Three booster pump stations: one at the SERRA plant, one in a vault at the intersection of Rancho Viejo Road and El Horno Creek Road, and one adjacent to the new zone 40 reservoir. 4. Five pressure regulation stations at various locations. 5. Four new non-domestic wells. These wells replace nearby CVWD owned wells that have failed due to age. 6. Transmission and distribution system improvements (pipelines).
