Whisman Road Transit Oriented Development

Description

The project would rezone the 465 North Whisman Road, 369 North Whisman Road, and 464 Ellis Street properties to apply the T (Transit) Zone overlay. Subsequent to the rezoning, the existing Air products and Chemicals facility would be demolished and removed, and the existing 447,600 square foot complex of industrial/office buildings would be expanded to include an additional 236,500 square feet in three new buildings and two new parking structures. With the expanded building area, the site FAR would be increased from the existing 0.35 to approximately 0.46. The T zone overlay requires the project to include design elements to enhance pedestrian activity and use of alternative modes of transportation.
