Description

The operator proposes to construct a culvert crossing over, and to insall a stormdrain outfall on the banks of Camile Creek. The culvert crossing involves placing a 50-linear ft. 72-inch diameter precast concrete pipe below stream grade. Associated headwall and wingwall structures will also be constructed. Three oak trees will be removed for the crossing. These trees wil be replaced at a minimim 3:1 ratio in the vicinity of the stream. The stormdrain outfall consists of an eight-inch diameter pipe that will spill out onto a 15-ft. long by 10-ft. wide (150-sq ft.) riprap energy dissipater. This outfall will be placed at the base of existing fill approximately 10-ft. away from the stream channel. The project is located on Napa State Hospital property along Camille Creek in Napa County Assessor Parcel #046-380-001 in Section 13 of Township 5 North Range 4 West in Napa County. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement # R3-2001-0284 Pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Paul Fettig/Napa Count Office of Education.
