Barona Casino Resort Expansion Project

Description

Expand the Project to include all the previous elements plus a 5-story parking structure and a special events center, as well as increasing the size of the hotel from 125 to 400 rooms and using a temporary Sprung structure of approximately 24,800 square feet until the opening of the new casino, at which time the temporary structure will be removed. The addition of these new elements constitutes a new "project" as used in the Ordinance, and thus requires a new environmental review process under the Ordinance. This second process includes preparation and review of a new environmental document, entitled "Second Environmental Evaluation of Off-Reservation Effects of Barona Casino Resort Expansion Project."
