Title: City of Lodi White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCP) Aeration, Filtration, and UV Disinfection Improvements
Description: Proposed interim aeration filtration, and UV disinfection improvements would be constructed within the main site described as: 1) Installing new multi-stage centrifugal blowers in the existing blower room; 2) Improving the blower building power supply to accommodate the new blowers; 3) Replacing of the aeration diffusers in two existing aeration basins; 4) Relocating the pumping station that supplies water to the NCPA power plant; 5) Removing and either disposing of or relocating sludge from an existing pond (i.e., the Aerated Pond) that would be used to equalize irrigation flowers; 6) Installing a pumping station to lift secondary clarifier effluent to the filters; 7) Installing granular or cloth-media tertiary filters; 8) Installing a coagulant feed equipment and building; 9) Installing clearwell and backwash pumping facilities; 10) Filling a portion of an existing pond (i.e., the Equalization Pond) to create a site for improvements (i.e., pumping station, tertiary filters, coagulant feed equipment and building, clearwell and backwash pumping facilities, and ultraviolet disinfection facilities); and 11) Installing ultraviolet disinfection facilities over the infilled pond area.
