Poplar-Cotton Center Storm Water Drainage and Recreation Project

Description

Construction of concrete curb and gutter along all County maintained roads and streets to provide surface collection and drainage of storm water runoff. Construction of sidewalks along major access roads from residential areas to schools and bus pickup locations to provide all weather dust-less surfaces for pedestrian traffic. Construction and installation of drainage inlets, manholes, concrete cross gutters, pipelines and other appurtenances to transport storm water runoff to detention and disposal basins. The area will be landscaped to help control the sound level and for the aesthetic quality.
