- Pacific Resource Recovery Services Corporation submitted a permit renewal application request to the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) for continuing operation of the hazardous waste management activities for the transfer, storage, and treatment of waste chemicals used in the paint and coating industry. This hazardous waste management facility permit would allow PRRS to continue to operate following seven (7) hazardous waste management activities at the site. DTSC is also proposed to authorize PRRS to use the existing railcar loading area within 33 feet from property, line for transferring ignitable wastes to other cement kiln manufactories as fuel for energy reclaim.
