Document Description
This proposed project consists of grading, pipeline trench excavation, and riprap placement to replace/upsize approximately 1, 685 lineal feet of an existing 8 to 10 inch diameter sewer main with a 12 inch diameter pipe, including lateral extensions to several residences. Of the 1, 685 lineal feet, the project will relocate approximately 1,500 lineal feet to a new alignment just south of the channel banks. The project will also included the construction of a 12 foot wide access road for pipeline maintenance purposes. All temporarily disturbed areas will be restored to pre-disturbance conditions, involving surface grading to match pre-project contours and re-vegetation (e.g., hydroseeding, container planting) with appropriate native plant species. The remaining non-disturbed portions of the channel will be enhanced as a self-mitigating project design feature.
