Document Description
A request by Catherine Milner for a Minor Use Permit (DRC2019-00046) to establish up to 9,200 square feet of outdoor cannabis canopy on a 40-acre parcel. The project would result in an area of disturbance of approximately 0.87 acre (37,920 square feet) and would include the installation of a 400-square-foot shed to be used for the storage of harvest equipment, and approximately 0.5 mile of roadway improvements (i.e., re-paving) along an existing paved private driveway. No grading or tree removal would be required. The project includes a request for an ordinance modification to allow for a 60-foot setback from the outdoor cultivation area to the east property line, where 300 feet is required.
The project site is located within the Agriculture land use designation at 2560 McMillan Canyon Road, approximately 3.8 miles north of the community of Shandon in the Shandon-Carrizo Sub Area of the North County Planning Area.
