Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0233-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Golden Rain Foundation. The project is limited to stabilization of two portions of Tice Creek. Stabilization repairs include installation of riprap along the eastern bank at Repair Site 1 and along the northern bank at Repair Site 2. Exclusion fencing will be installed around the perimeter of the proposed work areas prior to commencement of construction activities. Next, vegetation within the two project areas will be removed. The work sites will then be dewatered. Finally, construction activities will occur. All disturbed soils will be hand-seeded with native species upon completion of construction to restore the project area to pre-project conditions. Additional riparian planting will occur as mitigation for project impacts.
