The Decarbonizing Healthcare Guidebook: A Living Resource for Emerging Energy Efficiency Equipment and Systems Project will develop a comprehensive guidebook that focuses on existing and emerging energy efficiency equipment and systems and design improvements to reduce natural gas use, increase efficiency, and provide a plan for decarbonizing the healthcare industry. The research and writing of the guidebook will not have any impact on the physical environment, although the design guide will ultimately help hospitals plan and design retrofit projects to meet the state's decarbonization goals and provide energy and environmental benefits.
