Document Description
Notice of Exemption for an approved Caltrans safety project. In this project, Caltrans proposes to install new horizontal alignment signs (curve warning signs) or replace/supplement existing ones on the identified State Routes/Interstates, on-ramps, and off-ramps. The purpose is to provide advance notice of unexpected road conditions on or adjacent to the roadway and to comply with Caltrans Traffic Safety Standards. The existing horizontal alignment signs, or lack thereof, do not meet current horizontal alignment warning sign standards.
