Caltrans proposes to install pavement surface treatments at Interstate 8 postmile 5.6 and Interstate 805 postmile 17.4 in San Diego County. All work will be within Caltrans right-of-way. The purpose of this project is to increase pavement friction. This project is needed because these locations have higher than average accident counts during wet conditions.
