Document Description
The project is limited to one encroachment associated with existing onstream dam and water diversion from Unnamed Tributary to the West Fork Russian River tributary to the Russian River under Water Right Application (WA) No. A023792. Water will be diverted for consumptive use from the existing points of diversions (PODs) for vineyard and for emergency fire suppression under this Agreement. Under WA No. A023792, up to 4 acre-feet of water may be stored from January 1 through June 1 of each year. From June 2 through December 31, all natural stream flow shall be bypassed. Best management practices need to be employed to reduce sediment to the streams from the project. Bullfrog controls will be implemented if they are present. Agreement does not retroactively permit any crossings, diversion, or other encroachments not described in the Notification.

Activities will be conducted in a manner to protect water quality and to protect flow in the unnamed tributary. No mature or scenic trees will be removed. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, threatened, or rare species or their habitat pursuant to §15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
