Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0912-R 1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Damon J. Peterson. The project is limited to one (1) encroachment. Encroachment The project is limited to one (1) encroachment. Encroachment 1 is for restoration of approximately 275 linear feet of stream that was impacted due to heavy equipment activity. Work for the encroachment will include removal of delivered sediment, reduction of existing streambank slope, placement of appropriately -sized rock, installation of erosion control measures, and revegetation with native plant species. Additional protective measures include the presence of a qualified biological monitor during all activities to be conducted within or adjacent to the stream.

Reasons for Exemption
The project includes remediation of impacts of unpermitted work in response to a Notice of Violation from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat from the remediation work, as permitted, pursuant to section 15065 . There are no known hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The remediation project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
