Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0756-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Jessica Severne. The project is limited to sediment management activities on the parcel described in this Notification. Alluvial overburden material on gravel bars will used to bolster existing stream banks with activities relocating no more than 500 cubic yards of material per year or impacting no more than 300 linear feet for stream channel per year. The Permittee will reconfigure the low flow channel of the stream in order to increase its capacity and move it away from the banks of the stream where erosion is occurring. The new low flow channel shall maintain the grade and elevation of the existing low flow channel and shall have banks graded to at least 5:1 horizontal to vertical. Gravel removed during the construction of the low flow channel will be used to bolster the streambanks where they are actively eroding by pushing it up the bank to establish a 6:1 horizontal to vertical streambank.
