Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0193-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Los Angeles Department of Water and Power as represented by Charles Holloway. The project consists of conducting Routine Maintenance (Maintenance) from the bank of Bouquet Creek by removing sediment, debris, and emergent vegetation along with trimming back overgrown vegetation that has resulted in restricted water and backflows. This significant water restriction has caused the water to back into the dam outlet area where Permittee personnel inspect the amount of seepage and presence of sand and/or soil coming out of Bouquet Reservoir (Reservoir). This information is critical in evaluating the structural integrity of Bouquet Dam to protect the safety of residents immediately downstream of Reservoir.
