Document Description
The project creates and pilots a Climate Responsive Conservation Easement, an associated conservation plan and monitoring. Project will permanently protect working lands as well as a vast upper watershed meadow. The Mountain Meadows meadow complex is the second largest montane meadow in the Sierra. Project success will also contribute to local businesses, enhance tourism, and protect a landscape central to Mountain Maidu origin stories.
