Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0382-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Therese Lanzisera. The project is limited to the diversion of surface water from Hayfork Creek for non-cannabis purposes. Water will be diverted under a riparian claim for livestock and pasture irrigation, domestic, and fire protection uses at a rate of 3- 6 gallons per minute using a solar pump. No in-channel manipulation is required to place a screened pump intake for direct diversion. Irrigation for cannabis plants will be sourced from an existing groundwater well, which was not evaluated for hydraulic connection to surface water.
