Document Description
The Laura Chenel's Chevre installed an approximately 300 foot2 building to house their existing multimedia filter, chlorine treatment, softener, calcite media filtration, and new arsenic treatment system. A new 5,000-gallon storage tank was installed next to the building. Fifteen feet of 1 ¼-inch diameter piping was run from the treatment system to the new storage tank. Four hundred forty-five feet of 2-inch piping was laid to connect two other exiting tanks, a 5,000-gallon tank and a 10,000-gallon tank, to the treatment system. Laura Chenel's Chevre also connected well 2, a 100-gpm, 580-foot deep existing irrigation well, and well 1, a 35-gpm, 360- foot deep well, to the new treatment system through 825 feet of 2- inch piping. Existing irrigation piping was disconnected. The construction area consisted of a 0.1.-acre site (435.6 ft2 ) . The construction was completed in September 2017 and installation of equipment was completed in December 2017. The Project will provide for the operation of the system.
