Document Description
Construct a 16 -million gallon reservoir on the Marshall Ranch, adjacent to Redwood Creek, a tributary to South Fork Eel River . The Project seeks to improve habitat for coho salmon and steelhead in Redwood Creek, by addressing the limiting factor of low summer streamflows . The reservoir has been sited and designed to fill during the winter wet season and release approximately 50 gallons per minute of its stored water directly to Redwood Creek throughout the five - month summer dry season. The project also includes cooling gallery, associated infrastructure , e r osion control, instream habitat enhancement structures, and a solar energy generation system to operate the project.
