The Project will occur at eight locations on road crossings on nine unnamed tributaries to the Tuolumne River and an associated wetland at the Mountain Tunnel, in the central Sierra Nevada Mountain Range near the town of Groveland, Tuolumne County. The Mountain Tunnel Improvements Project begins at Early Intake Reservoir on the Tuolumne River and extends 19 miles west to Priest Reservoir near the town of Moccasin; Locations are at Township 1 South, Range 19 East, Section 31, 7.5 Minute Quad Moccasin; Township 1S, Range 17E, Sections 25 and 27, Township 1S, Range 18E, Section 30, 7.5 Minute Quad Jawbone Ridge, MDB&M; Assessor’s Parcel Numbers 057-220-001, 066-120-010, 066-250-029, 066-240-002, and 068-140-016.
