Document Description
This project will install a 154.45kW rooftop solar photovoltaic energy system for four existing on-site electric irrigation pumps, two shops and four homes. The rooftop solar arrays will be located on 81.2-acre on the east side of the parcel 910- 004-476-090, between the shop building and house. Installation of the arrays will require some minor trenching and grading. No drilling, welding or heavy equipment will be required.

This project will involve the installation of a solar energy system on one carport at a parking lot that has existed for over two years and pursuant to Pub. Res. Code§ 21080.35 is exempt from CEQA. The materials will enable the generation and
use of solar PV. The system will be installed at a vineyard in Madera County. Associated equipment will not occupy more than 500 square feet of ground surface.

California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15301: The project involves minor alteration and operation of existing facilities. California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15304: The project to install solar arrays involves minor grading, trenching and backfilling to provide an alternate source of power for the existing on-site irrigation pumps, shop, and two homes. These activities will not have a significant effect on the environment.
