Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0111-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the California Department of Water Resources, as represented by Mitra Emami.
Project site access and construction will be conducted from the levee crest road. If necessary, existing trees (>4- inch DBH) will be identified to be protected in place, trimmed, and tree protection will be implemented. If necessary, vegetation (<4-inch DBH) and fallen brush will be removed. A turbidity curtain will be installed. Disturbed soils and rocks will be excavated, and bank slope will be shaped for stability. Soil filled rockfill will be placed from top of repair area to one (1) foot above waterline and will be tied into slope at transition areas. Agricultural soil layer will be placed onto the repair area and disturbed repair area will be hydroseeded with a native erosion control seed mix. All excavated material will be hauled offsite.
