Document Description
Cal trans will replace 26 culvert drainage systems, of which 13 are within jurisdictional waters along SR 3, in Trinity County. The Project is needed to replace and repair existing culverts that are deteriorating, resulting in insufficient drainage capacity causing roadway flooding and embankment erosion which will lead to the roadway failure. Culverts will be replaced using either a cut-and-cover technique or the jack-and-bore method, and one culvert will be repaired by installing a steel liner within a damaged pipe.
